About Tallis

What Tallis is

Tallis is a personal AI assistant that lives in a chat. You write to it in Telegram or in a web chat, in plain language, and it does the work: reading, drafting, research, planning, and actions on the services you already use.

Model access is included. You never bring an API key, and you never pick a model from a menu. Tallis chooses the model that suits the job.

Each subscriber gets a private space of their own, with its own memory, files, schedules, credentials and browser session. Nothing is shared between customers.

The rule the product is built around

An assistant that can act in the world can also act wrongly. So every action that leaves your machine, a message sent, a price changed, a request made, is decided by an approval step that the assistant itself cannot bypass.

You choose how tight that step is. Ask first means you see the exact message or change and tap approve. Guardrails means you set the limits once and Tallis works inside them. Autopilot means Tallis proceeds and reports. In every mode there is a receipt, a stop button, and no silent retry of an action whose outcome is unknown.

The part that does not change: the assistant never grants itself permission.

Where Tallis is today

Tallis is in a small, hand-run beta. It is not open for self-serve signup. The first round is deliberately narrow: one assistant per subscriber, a web chat for testers, LinkedIn connect and message on one account with a preview and a tap for every action, and the ability to pause or delete an account on request.

We would rather say that plainly than dress an early product as a finished one. If you want in, the waitlist on the home page is the only door.

Who is behind Tallis

A small independent team in Europe. We are in stealth until the beta ends, so no names on this page yet.

That is a fair thing to be suspicious of, so here is what you can check instead of a photograph.

• Every comparison page names its sources and the date we captured them. Go to any page under Compare, read the source links, and check them yourself. If a figure is a company's own claim, we say so.
• Every guide carries the date it was last updated. We do not bump a date without new work.
• Write to ops@tallis.works and a person reads it, and answers within two working days. Test it before you trust anything else here.
• Your conversations are never training data, and they are never pooled with another customer's. The privacy notice is the binding version of that sentence.
• We publish what Tallis cannot do, on this page and on the guides. A product page that only lists strengths has told you nothing.

When the beta ends, the names go up here.

How we write about the product

Three rules govern every page on this site.

• We do not claim an action succeeded without a result from the service that ran it.
• We do not publish a capability we have not built, and we date the ones under test.
• Our comparison pages cite their sources and record the date we captured them. A competitor is described from its own public material, not from our summary of it.

If you find a line on this site that fails one of those rules, write to us and we will correct it.

Privacy, in one paragraph

Your conversations and files stay inside your own space. They are not training data, and they are not pooled with other customers. You can inspect what Tallis remembers, correct it, export it, disconnect an account, cancel, and ask for deletion. The full detail is in the privacy notice and the terms.
